Imery Group, construction business, in building healthy, durable and efficient homes, and renovations, is seeking a full time employee to manage the day-to-day construction activities in the Atlanta-Lilburn Market. Individual will be exposed to construction techniques that have made the Imery Group a niche player on high performance construction practices. Candidate will gain practical knowledge on both the construction and the underlying green practices, on how residential, multifamily and commercial buildings earn green designations.

The ideal candidate should be able and is expected to run a job from cradle to grave with little supervision. Once a job goes under contract, candidate will receive from main office plans, budget and specifications on how to complete and execute the job to high performance and high quality standards. Duties include, but are not limited to, estimating, bidding, scheduling job(s) in addition to coordinating with team of subcontractors, vendors, designers, and office staff and homeowners to deliver a project on time, budget and quality. Candidate will also be involve in the due diligence process of obtaining all necessary construction permits.


The ideal candidate should have one or more of the followings:

  • BS in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related degree
  • Minimum 6 year experience in construction
  • Understanding of Green Building Programs and/or Building Science
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)

 Desired Accreditations or Designations (the more the better)

  • DET Verifier for Georgia Energy Code
  • Building Analyst with BPI
  • HERS Rater
  • EarthCraft Technical Advisor
  • LEED Green Rater
  • Other designation for the Green Building and Weatherization Industry

 Skills Required:

  • Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings, and specifications
  • Capable of Reading and Understanding Engineered Floor & Truss System Drawings
  • Knowledgeable and well verse on current Georgia Building Codes, including Energy Code
  • Basic understanding of building science concepts – buildings as a whole, and not a combination of “stand alone systems”.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, and productivity apps such

 Other Skills (Beneficial but not required) :

  • Existing contacts with subs and vendors in the Atlanta-Lilburn Area
  • Renovation, Multifamily and Light Commercial Experience
  • Basic Knowledge of HVAC Design – Manual J, S and D
  • Construction License
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
  • Microsoft Project or Similar Construction Management Software Experience

Compensation: Competitive, based on candidate experience

Hours: 7:30AM-5:30PM – Monday trough Friday
